Meet The Hearts Behind Aging in the 207

Bobbie Collins, Agency Director & Founder

Bobbie Collins, Agency Director for Aging in the 207

With deep roots in Maine and a lifelong passion for helping others, I founded Aging in the 207 Home Care Agency to bring compassionate, dependable care to seniors right here at home.

As a proud Gen Xer with Baby Boomer parents, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges families face as loved ones age. Living and working in Maine one of the oldest states in the country. I recognize that my own generation will soon be the next in need of care. That realization inspired me to build an agency that embodies respect, trust, and genuine compassion  a true Maine company dedicated to doing care the right way: with heart, integrity, and local pride.

My healthcare journey began in the 1990s as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where I provided hands-on care in both nursing homes and home care settings. I later advanced into Medical Assisting and Phlebotomy, gaining valuable clinical experience across several healthcare facilities throughout Maine. These years at the bedside taught me that even the smallest acts like washing a patient’s hair, offering a smile, or simply listening can make a world of difference.

Over time, my career evolved into Healthcare Management, where I oversaw staffing, human resources, and the daily operations of staffing & home care agency. These experiences strengthened my leadership and deepened my appreciation for the dedicated caregivers who serve on the front lines of compassion every day.
